Welcome to Our Candle Bar!
We can’t wait to welcome you to our beautiful space in the Eastown neighborhood of Grand Rapids. Below is a preview of what to expect during your next visit!
The Candle-Making Process
The process takes about 30 to 45 minutes from the time you walk into Wax Poetic Candle Bar until you finish pouring your custom candle.
Head to the Fragrance Bar, where you will smell all of our single-scent fragrance oils and explore your favorite selections.
Step 1
After selecting 1-3 fragrances, you will stop by our container wall, and choose from our gorgeous selection of vessels.
Step 2
Find a seat and settle in. A Wax Poetic staff member will guide you through the candle-making process.
Step 3
Mix your custom candle and personalize it with a label created by you. We provide the label and markers, you make it as simple or artsy as you wish!
Step 4
While You Wait…
Candles need to sit for a minimum of 2 hours in order to properly set. We highly recommend visiting some of our neighboring businesses to shop, grab a drink, or get a bite to eat. Your scent specialist will be more than happy to share recommendations! You may also choose to come back another day to pickup candles.
